Website Launched

Well it has finally happened!!  Our web site is up and running.

Let's go for a quick tour of the web site.

It starts off with Our program. This give a great overview of what Youth exchange is all about. Including costs, what is expected and a whole lot more information.

A very important part is the Experiences tab. Here there are real life stories about the students life in their host country for a year. If you are a rebound and you would like to add a story to this…please do not hesitate to contact us.

The application process is spelt out under the Find out more tab. This includes the initial application form as well as specific details about the information evenings.

The download section is still under construction but as time progresses we will be adding more and more information for prospective out bounders, clubs, host families and other interested people.

The Buttons on the right with the various country flags take you directly to specific information about the country. In many cases, it also includes some wonderful stories from outbounders who either are or who have been exchange students in those countries.

In addition to all of this, in the secure zone there is a special login area for current outbounds and counsellors to source important information on a 24/7 basis. This builds on the history of CD’s, emails and other methods of distribution that we have previously used.

So all in all we are quite excited about the web site. If you have any suggestions to improve or add to the web site, please don’t hesitate to contact the District committee.
